The walking tour runs five to seven hours with a licensed local guide, starting from your hotel or riad, and finishes in the souks and Jemaa el-Fna as the square fills for the evening. Half-day and full-day versions are both available. If you are also going to the mountains or the desert, this is the day to do first — the city makes more sense before you leave it than after.
